We have some new release notes to share with you today. In these notes we will keep you informed about new features, small quality-of-life improvements and technical updates. If you have any feedback, do not hesitate to let your customer success  manager know.

Highlight of our biggest improvements in 2023

Data Variants – Localize content at scale

We now offer the long awaited variants in campaign/project data briefings for customers with an Enterprise Plan. This will enable you to automatically create multiple content outputs of a single briefing item (data record) with different data and styling options per variant. It provides the ability to automate content for multiple countries, regions or segments from one centralized data set.

Publication Workflow Deadlines

Publications now have the option to store deadlines and create timed notifications or events based on these deadlines. This is just the beginning and we will add more features based on scheduling in the future. Let your customer success manager know if you have any ideas / needs regarding this topic.

Generating grouped assets with a specific formation

Customers working with group promotions or multiple product assets in a single briefing item (data record), can now use the format rulesets to setup a specific formation layout of these assets. You will have the ability to configure a wave, grid or stairs formation and there are more on the way.

Easier integrations with Webhooks

We made it easier and faster to integrate your own data systems with Relayter – for both importing and exporting data. It is now possible to setup Relayter Webhooks that will fire configurable events for consuming external systems. But you are also able to setup a connector in Relayter to listen to external Webhooks from other systems.

Direct publication item file downloads

The only option to retrieve design or preview/ouput files was through the specific files module or export options. You can now quickly download a single file directly from the details panel of the content you are viewing in a publication.

Digital Asset Management (DAM)

As requested by many customers, we have now opened up the possibility to not just store images, but any file type you can think of. And you will have full customization on any kind of meta data needed for these assets. In the future we will release more cool features regarding DAM and content automations.

2nd quarter of 2023

  • Option for OR statements in the format rulesets
  • Ability to view the last opened campaigns / projects
  • Keeping row selected state after a save
  • Option to view deleted publication items
  • Fix for long publication names becoming unreadable
  • Ability to push annotations to all content variants of a publication item
  • Added stack logic in layer with option left / right / top or bottom
  • UI refinement for clearer (briefing) table views
  • Ability to upload an image file in the workflow
  • UI refinement for sections in the team settings screen

3rd quarter of 2023

  • Major UX refinement on the workflow screen
  • Ability to zoom in the overview component
  • Removed unnecessary modal pop-ups from UI
  • Added the option to reorder the columns in a table and store them per user/browser
  • Ability to search for notes in the proofing notes panel

4th quarter of 2023

  • Ability to (re)order rules in a format ruleset
  • Better UI response when the API is in Maintance mode
  • Ability to view the briefing item changelog from the briefing screen
  • Ability to upload webp files in a workflow
